The Suntar River Waterfalls

The Suntar River Waterfalls
The Suntar River is the main river of the Suntar Khayata Range. In the Even language the word "hунта" (sounds like 'huntah) means “deep”.
Numerous tributaries of this river originate high in the mountains, where their glacial sources lose more than a thousand meters of height in just a few kilometers. The water rushes through granite gorges and down steep ledges, forming picturesque cascades of waterfalls.

It is always cool under the waterfalls, so you can often find some animals here hiding from the summer heat.

The photos show the waterfalls of the Malli and Munil rivers.
