The Mammoth Museum
The Mammoth Museum is the world’s only specialized museum where interesting and unique paleontological exhibits from the mammoth era are stored, studied and demonstrated.
It was established in 1991 as a scientific and cultural center for the study of mammoth fauna and its habitat during the Ice Age.
An integral part of the museum’s work is the search and excavation of burials of mammoths, woolly rhinoceroses and associated fauna of that time.
